Timothy John Myers

Timothy John Myers, 56, of Akron, passed away December 2, 2023 as the result of an accident while decorating at home.

        Born in Pasagula, MS, he was the son of Melvin L. Myers, Sr, of Wernersville, companion of Melinda Blessing, and the late S. Jane (Nease) Myers. He was the perfect match, and loving husband to Kristi L. (Hippo) Myers. They were together for 13 years and married since June 2022.

        Tim worked with his brother for 20 years at Industrial Grounds Maintenance, Reading. Prior to working with his brother, he was a supervisor at Morgan Corp. and an office manager at Reading Matters, Akron.

        He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Akron and a 1985 graduate of Wilson High School. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop # 57, Akron and served as a merit badge counselor, Clover Park A.A., Ephrata Community Aux., and the West Lawn QA. Tim loved tinkering with electronics, listening to music, being around family, playing Bingo, camping and going on trips.

        Tim’s greatest passion was doing for others, he would wake up every morning wondering – “What can I do to make someone’s life better!”

        Surviving in addition to his wife and father are his children – Samuel J. Myers, Kutztown, Nathan T. Black, Akron, Jenna M. Black, Ephrata, his granddaughters – Scarlett and Savanna Black, his siblings – James R. husband of (Suzanne) Myers, Muhlenberg Twp., Pamela S. Beissel companion of Brian G. Fisher, Mohnton and many nieces and nephews.

        Viewing from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM with a time for sharing immediately following the viewing.
