William Naugle Obituary

William F. Naugle, 82, of Shillington, passed away June 6, 2017 in the Mifflin Center where he was a guest. Born in Shillington, he was a son of the late Walter F. Wilhemina (Fuhr) Naugle and stepson of the late Julia (Pondo) Naugle. Bill was the proprietor of Naugle Appliance on Lancaster Avenue in Shillington for over 40 years, retiring in 1997. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and continued to serve in the Army reserves serving 20 years. A 1952 graduate of Shillington High School, Bill was a Life member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shillington and a Life Member at Gouglersville Fire Co., Keystone Fire Co. No.1, Shillington and Clover Park A.A. He enjoyed gardening, attending Penn State football games with his bother Bob and caring for his pet cats. He is survived by his brothers - Arthur C. husband of Anne Marie Naugle, Shillington, Richard A. husband of Mary Lou Naugle, Cedar Top, his sister- in- law Geraldine Naugle, Shillington and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Donald and Robert. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10:30 AM from Klee Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Army Chaplain Schaun Myers will officiate. Interment with Full Military Honors in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. Viewing on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Monday from 9:30 - 10:15 AM at the funeral home.
