My deepest condolences to the Badway family. My name is Hooman. Dan and I and two others (Gordon and David) were roommates during engineering school at UF. I was searching for Dan on LinkedIn to try and connect when I learned about his passing and was deeply saddened. I have many fond memories of living with Dan, Gordon and Dave while going through engineering school which I would love to share with the family directly if interested. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] - I live in Northern California. Dan was a big brother to us with a kind soul. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Badway was one of my final teachers before graduating from Spring-Ford in 2016, he was a quiet man but always told us about his time studying engineering at the University of Florida. He left a lasting impression on his students as I remember multiple other people speaking fondly of his classes, including my younger brothers who he also taught. I would like to give his children and siblings my condolences and I hope his final days were spent with his loved ones.

Dan you were a good friend and I remember you helping gut my kitchen since I helped you on your houses and always discussing hot peppers. I will miss you. Chris
