Grandma Wiest was always very kind to me, unless of course I was getting into the sort of trouble which requires a not-so-kind response! And that is why she was a great grandma to have. As a child, I always looked forward to seeing her for the week I would visit her in the summertime. I have numerous fond memories of those summer visits - the trips to the movies, amusement parks, museums, or feeding the scary geese in the park. Those good memories of her will be with me for the rest of my life, and I thank her for them.
