He received a baseball scholarship from Villanova University, graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting. He later received his Master of Science in Taxation from Philadelphia University. He earned his CPA in June 1997. He owned and operated John Andras & Company, P.C. in Shillington for over 30 years. Can't believe he's gone. I love the last pic. That about summed it up. We skied many times and many places. Finally at rest, he was larger than life.

The community has lost a good man. He could be tough at times but he always desired to bring the best out of each of us. He was kind and loyal to those he knew. Very generous and loved to laugh. He will be missed.

Farewell, John - my friend and next-door-neighbor. Gloria and I will miss your funny stories and friendly smiles and waves as our paths crossed many times on Imperial Drive. I will miss our discussions about world politics and life in general at our favorite watering hole: Clover Park. Farewell old friend, we will meet again. Bill & Gloria Meek

I have so many memories of John while we were DKE brothers at Villanova. Both had the reigns as Social Chairmen. He taught me how to order the kegs to the DKE Farm in Haverford. Later we became bartenders at the American Legion in Wayne. The cash register would hum with fraternity business every weekend and for Monday Night Football. We shared laughs over the personalities and habits of the membership. Recently we reconnected and shared more laughs over the state of our current politics in the USA. We shared Villanova b-ball season tickets for the past 10 years. John's great sense of humor and his opinions will be missed by all of us. Tess

John was a great friend during my time at Villanova. We were consecutive Social Chairmen for DKE during a three year stretch and we shared many a laugh as bartenders at the American Legion Post in Wayne. In recent years we reconnected and shared Villanova B-ball season tickets for the past 10 years. John was always good for a politically incorrect joke and a laugh. I will miss texting with him and those comments about the state of our current events. RIP Mule!

We will never forget how much John loved to talk and tell jokes, he could always make us laugh no matter how serious life can be. My last business phone call with him was to be about 10 minutes long that turned into 45 minutes because of his love of telling stories about his life and it was always interesting and funny. John, you will be dearly missed in our hearts. Vince and Mary Orlando

Very sorry to hear of the loss of John. Some great memories of him during our time at Nova as Deke brothers. I know he still kept up with the fraternity as I have somewhat . Great guy I know he will be missed by family and friends

John your patience (yes, I said patience!), understanding, sense of community and humor will never be forgotten. I used to laugh at the stories your sister would tell about her encourageable, tattle tale little brother who would try to get her suitors to play catch with him. You will be greatly missed.

John, I’ll miss your humor, sarcasm and ability to keep a phone call going for at least 30+ Minutes!! You had a heart of gold and could spin a story like no one I’ve ever met!! I’ll miss your banter!! ❤️

I remember John as a very funny and talented member of the VU Baseball team. A few years ahead of me, he was very kind to all of us rookies and made the transition to Division 1 baseball much easier.
