John Kevin Kopp, 57, of Spring Township, passed away, May 20, 2022, at 6:40 AM in the Reading Hospital where he was a patient.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of John B. “Jack” and Gloria (Goldsborough) Kopp, West Lawn.

Kevin was a graduate of Wilson High School and attended Kutztown University. He worked in mortgage banking for several banks. He was a member of St. Peter’s U.C.C., Wilshire. Active in the boy scouts as a youth, Kevin attended Philmont high adventure scout camp in Cimarron, NM. He enjoyed hunting and other outdoor activities.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his son – J. Alexander Kopp, Fleetwood, his sister – Pamela O. Kopp, Shartlesville, and his aunts – Sandra O. Kopp, Reading and Rosalie J. Goldsborough, Wyomissing.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hawk Mountain Council, BSA, 5207 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605. The Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Shillington is assisting the Kopp family.
