Margaret Z. Burkholder

Margaret Z. Burkholder, 89, passed way Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the home of her son Glenn Burkholder.

Born in Bareville, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Jacob & Anna (Zug) Ebersole. She was the wife of the late Jay Burkholder. For the last eleven years, she was cared for by her sons Michael & Glenn Burkholder in their homes.

Mrs. Burkholder is survived by her three sons – Michael Burkholder and his wife Elma, Glenn Burkholder and his wife Debra, Lee Burkholder, and her daughter-in-law Cinda Burkholder wife of the late Raymond Burkholder. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, seventy-seven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

Viewing on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 4:00 – 9:00 PM will be held at Little Swatara Old German Baptist Church, Airport Road, just outside of Rehrersburg, Berks Co. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the church, with a viewing to follow her service. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
