Philip Craig Detweiler, 67, of Lebanon, passed away May 10, 2022, at 11:50 PM in WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, where he was a patient after suffering a stroke.
Born in Lebanon, PA, he was a son of the late Russell E. and Helen Grace (Bucher) Detweiler.
Phil attended Calvary Chapel, Lebanon, and loved life. He had many friends and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked spending time with his family and good friend Cindy Edgell. Phil’s greatest love was music. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He liked his Fender guitars and visiting guitar shops.
Phil is survived by his siblings – Judy wife of David Smith, Bainbridge, PA, David husband of Candy Detweiler, Cleona, PA, Kathy wife of Ronald Klee, Jr., Shillington, Patti wife of Matthew Brubaker, Brownstown, 3 Nieces and 5 Nephews.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 12 Noon from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation, 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon. Pastor Dan Vanvleet will officiate. Private interment in Hummelstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please remember Phil by contributing to The Mental Wellness Awareness Association, 25 Spruce Road, Marysville, PA 17053.
