Obituary

Richard M. Wood, 57, of Cumru Township, formerly of Brookhaven, PA, passed away December 2, 2021, at 10:52 AM in his residence.

Born in Chester, Delaware County, PA, he was a son of the late William S. & Rosemarie G. (Strootman) Wood. He was the loving husband of Patricia Ann (Zukowski) Wood. On January 1st they would have celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary.

Richard was an entrepreneur during his life and was a member of St. John Baptist de LaSalle R.C. Church Shillington. He enjoyed guitar playing, working on his cars, computers, electronics, music, especially Pink Floyd, and walking his dogs.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons – Patrick W. and Alexander M. Wood, both at home. Richard was 1 of 10 children.

Visitation on January 8, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven PA 19015 followed by his Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00 AM.
