Joyce E. Griffith, 86, of Cumru Township, passed away July 17, 2022 in the Mifflin Center where she was a guest since January 25th.
Born In Reading, she was a daughter of the late Frank M. and Faye (Long) Althouse.
Joyce worked as a hand grinder for Alcon Industries until retiring. She enjoyed traveling with her sister, taking bus trips across the United States, gardening, taking walks with the neighbor, and reading.
She is survived by her daughter Bonnie L. Sweimler, Reading, 3 granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son – Scott Griffith (2020), and her siblings, Irene Bliesath, Donald R. Althouse and Kenneth M. Althouse.
Graveside services in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville, on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 10:30 AM. The Rev. Elmer B. Reinhold, Jr. will officiate. The Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Shillington is assisting the Griffith family. www.kleefuneralhome.com
