Robert E. Mason, Jr., 73, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away March 12, 2022, in the Reading Hospital where he was a patient since January 24th.
He was the husband of Jacqueline K. (Klee) Mason. Bob & Jackie would have been married 55 years on July 15th. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was a son of the late Robert E. Mason, Sr., and M. Frances (Nolen) Mason.
Bob served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the U.S.S. Ogden. He was an electrician at the former Rockwell Int’l and last worked as a Field Service Engineer for NCS – Numerical Control Service, retiring in 2007. Bob was a loving husband and father. He had a love for his family here and in Virginia.
He is survived by his loving wife Jackie, his loving daughter Julie A. Mason, Muhlenberg Twp., his brothers – Richard T. husband of Cory Mason, Fleetwood, and James A. husband of Debbie Mason, West Lawn. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law – James husband of Holly Althouse, Barry Husband of Nancy Althouse, Dennis Althouse, Irvin husband of Cindy Althouse, Thomas husband of Charlotte Althouse, David Althouse, and his sister-in-law – Teena Hansen. Bob was predeceased by his son – Robert E. Mason, III, who passed on November 27, 1969, and his brother – Thomas N. Mason.
Funeral services from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Pastors Scott Kramer and Karey Schaffer will officiate. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Twp. Viewings on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 at the funeral home.
